I wanted to post this yesterday with "welcome back home" for the veterans day. not enough folks posted yesterday to do enough reviews to promote this as well. even though this is the day after the holiday, I still wanted to honor the most brave souls in all branches in armed forces. if you know someone who served as medic or corpsman, please shake their hand and thank them for saving our troops.
original post;
when you think of a soldier, sailor, marine, guard, etc, people always think of the fighting man. To me the hero is not the one who storms the mountain, but the brave soul who goes out into harms way with no weapon to save another. think about it people! the percusion of the blast around you..the crack of a bullet whizzing by your head..fighting frantically to save the wounded life with the battle going on at the same time. then to get them back to safety area without any thought of getting killed yourself...if you know a veteran no matter what branch..ask him about the medics..they were our lifeline from the battlefield...i salute the medics of all branches past and present. THEY ARE AMERICAS TRUE HEROES! yall comeon back now yahear!
