Autumn in the hills

Australia does not have the deciduous trees and colour of autumn as you experience in the Northern Hemisphere but in the Adelaide Hills a lot of European trees were planted on settlement by the migrants. I love to drive through the hills at this time after the dry summer when the hills have turned brown the colours of Autumn brighten the landscape. The trees were just changing on my last visit to the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens but I thought the varying shades made an interesting photograph.
