During my visits to Adelaide Zoo I am always impressed by the gardens that have been created around the walkways and in the animal shelters trying to make it not only attractive but self sufficient in providing food for animals and birds. This banksia was near a pathway leading to the walk through bird aviary, which unfortunately had been emptied due to renovation the birds having been moved into some of the large cages dispersed through the zoo. Look forward to returning and seeing the changes once completed.
