The Color Green - Art (a) Contest Entry

This is a view down the River Wharfe in Yorkshire. There are many lovely river views in Yorkshire and it's difficult to choose from them. I spent some time by the River Wharfe when I was in the Girl Guides as a young girl of 11 and we camped at Rievaulx Abbey from where we made several excursions. Wharfe is Celtic for twisted or turning. I used oil paints on a canvas block for this.
