The African Lion is on the decrease due to disease and persecution by farmers. On average a lion eats one cow or three sheep per year and the cattle they consume are infecting lions with bovine TB. I love all types of cats including these in the wild. I used chalk pastels on velour pastel paper for this. Unfortunately it hasn't uploaded very well - could be my rubbish photography though!
