My daughter suffers from severe PTSD. I want to thank Barb for the idea of doing a painting about this horrible illness. My daughter has talked about the triggers that put her back in the same place as the horrible traumatic events. She feels the chains that bind her, that's why I put the opaque chains around her and the rain as the trigger . My husband suffers from this also being a military vet, but I decided to use the other side of PTSD that is now coming to light , that it's not just the Vet that suffers from this. God bless them all and bring them relief.
