Mum's neighbour, a sprightly soul of ninety plus, was being pelted with mud on her windows by passing kids, idiot me, fetched a social worker for her- she had never bothered with them, they took her into a care home, she was dead within three months. Same time and again. You have to write a letter to your doctor and lawyer if you do not want taking into a care home when they feel you should go.
