Walking around the neighbourhood the council strip outside the boundary of peoples house and next to the footpath is often neglected but occassionally people go to the effort of planting hardy flowers to brighten up the street. These daisies are popular as they are reasonably drought tolerant and hardy against the children riding bikes over them as they ride along the footpath or other such occurences.
