Journalism Contest Entry
This is the original Car of the infamous couple Bonnie and Clyde. It has the original bullet holes, but I doubt that it looked like that after the shootings in Louisiana. Someone cleaned the car up and polished it before it and other memorabilia were added to the expeditions of the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum, Texas.
The car and other original memorabilia were photographed at the Buckhorn.
The collage was assembled from four photos in seven layers. The sand beneath the car and the greenery in the background are from the original display at at the museum. I had to clone some reflections from the wall photo. The overlay of the wanted features was created from photos of original newspapers on display at the Buckhorn.
As usual in museums, the space of the exhibition is very small. There was a busy very distracting area in the back of the car. I replaced it with a wanted poster, which I created from the photo of the original poster on display at the Buckhorn Museum.
