this is a sunrise over the Normandy Bridge, taken from my hotel room at the "Ferme Saint Simeon" in Honfleur; why did I choose this name: Impression, Soleil Levant (impression, sunrise), is the most famous painting of Claude Monet, dated 1872, depicting Le Havre harbor; it gave rise to the name of the Impressionist movement; 1°- Le Havre harbor is less than ten km away from this bridge; 2°- the pic was taken from the room occupied by Claude Monet, 140 years ago; la Ferme Saint Simeon was the craddle of the Impressionist movement; together with Monet, dozens artists worked there: Boudin, Jongkind, Sisley, Corot....
