The frost has painted fantastic patterns on the window,

But those are cold.

In the mitten of the coldest winter, I dream of summer.

If I am cold, I dream of warming golden rays of the sun.

I dream of rainbows and blue skies, and

The blinking silver ice crystals will change into golden swirling flowers.

The swirl was created from a photo of a Shasta Daisy and a photo of grass. I treated the grass with Gaussian Blur and used it as background. The daisy was isolated from its original background, accentuated and treated with a swirl filter. Than added as second layer to the background. The layers were merged overlapping each other. I used partial transparency of various degrees. The collage was cropped, the exposure and hue adjusted.
