Walking along the pathway to the next lookout on the Great Ocean Road Victoria and the baby tiger snake was slithering across the road. Fortunately the tourists nearby stopped in their tracks and allowed it to go on quietly into the grass. The tiger snake uses venom to dispatch its prey, and may bite an aggressor; they are potentially fatal to humans. I made sure I took the photo from a safe distance.
