This is a thing I cannot put a name to. It is a hideous thing, but it is charming. It is a badly painted craftsman's work. It is build from wood, with more love than expertise. This homebuilt something covers a dividing wall of 5 x 7 feet. Some parts look like shadow boxes, others have doors and look like cabinets. There are many curious things in it. Those objects seem to have nothing to do which each other, but they are the memories of a lifetime. The shadow box above is 9 ½ x 11 inches. It hangs in the left corner of another bigger box. To answer the question surely on the way; this little shadow box contains a silver ashtray, a diary older than its owner, a silken band used as bookmark, a wooden vase and two broken toys.

This is painted intentionally rather loose, with not much detail. Photo realism was not on my mind.
