Wandering around the gardens I spotted the dark salmon cone amongst the deep green foilage of the cycad. Hadn't seen this before so photographed both the cone and the nameplate (so I knew what it was when I got home) Looking up internet found that E. ferox reproduces using cones that are of a dark salmon color, as opposed to the greenish coloration typical of other cycads. This one is a female cone.
