Nereus is a deity from Greek mythology. He is the son of Pontus and Gaia who lived in the Aegean sea.
Nereus was created from a part of one of my unpublished flower paintings. I used several filters, including wave filter and distortion filters. I intensified the eye and added the small red line as mouth with paint brushes. I adjusted the colors and cropped the picture and adjusted the exposure. The original flower painting was created on blank digital canvas using oil colors, brushes and palette knife.
