Digging Down Deep

Unfinished Contest Entry
To build a tall building in Manhattan, the first thing to do (after arranging financing) is to dig deep down to lay a foundation for the building which has to be earthquake proof and to channel all the utilities into the building and to hold a garage. They have to dig through granite oftentimes and will unearth structures hundreds of years old. All this has to be done in a space that's 100' by 100'. They are here in the middle of this process with much left to go.
