Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry
A red headed woman and her blonde sister. I also penned the following poem to accompany this painting:
Said Scarlet to Blondie,
"Got a letter last night
From that man you told me
Loves you and treats you right"
"You don't say, my sister!"
Cried Blondie to Scarlet.
"What scribbled the mister
Who thinks me a harlot?"
"The cad says he loves me
And none other, he swears,"
Read Scarlet to Blondie,
Wiping her sister's tears.
"He'll weep more and not less
When we make him regret
Ever trying to mess
With Blondie and Scarlet"
"He will wish he was dead
Long before we are done.
For we're yellow and red
Flames that burn like the sun!"
