The Night - Art Contest Entry

The darkness at night never seems complete. Of course there are the lights put in place by humans, but even without those, nature has her own night lights. There are fireflies and stars. There are reflections of light. There are the moon and florescent creatures in the depth of the ocean and many more....

The abstract was painted on blank digital canvas, using brushes and the edge tail feature of the palette knife for applying the oil colors. The piece was finalized using an accentuation filter.
