We were driving into Yeppoon when we heard very loud noise coming from the fig trees on the side of the road, finding a park we investigated to see hundreds of fruit bats hanging around in amongst the trees. This one must have had a hard night as he was yawning away - normally when we see the fruit bats they are high up and hard to get close enough to get any detail as you can see I possibly got more detail than I needed with this one :)
