We had a mini reunion over Christmas this year. Multi families all under one roof for 7 days. We had our Christmas on the eve, with nothing to do Christmas Day we all went to a wild animal park. So much fun.

This is Winston. He sits there every day, all day. He is the Alpha male of the troop. Oldest at 62 he protects the females and the wee little young ones.
The young do not mature until they are 6 to 9 years old.

Every gorilla has a different nose. Their noses are like our finger prints. No 2 ever the same.

The consume 30-40 pounds of food each day. They love radishes but they peel them with their teeth and spit the red skin away.
