Photograph of the Month Contest Entry

This handsome guy is in the family of Lynx. There are four living species of Lynx; Eurasian Lynx, Canada Lynx, Iberian Lynx and the Bobcat. This is a Canada Lynx species. They are often confused with the Bobcat which is similar in color but slightly smaller. Lynx have 1.5 inch tufts of black hair on the tips of their ears and a black ruff on under the neck that looks a little like a bow tie. I was happy to get a shot of this guy's bow tie.
