Digital Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

The basis for this painting was an old tattered gift box a friend gave to me, knowing that I love unusual and old stuff. The box has Jamaica Rum written on it and a print of painting. The landscape showed a Latifundia [farm]. Sadly, the print landscape painting is severely damaged, so I decided to reinvent it. My painting is based on the gift box print and some of my own sunset photos from the Caribbean I used as reference.
