Digital Artwork of the Month Contest Entry
I saw this lady at an open air concert in the center of San Antonio, Texas. She was sitting in a wheelchair, but had the demanding aura of a Spanish dissident of the Grand Families of [old] Mexico's past time. I ask if I could photograph and sketche her. I ask in Spanish, but she did not answer. A rather rude girl, standing on her side said: "She cant hear you, but I don't care, do what you want", and she put the earplugs of her phone back into her ears. I got only a couple of bad photos, because the street was crowded. Then I sketched her and both of us entered a world of our own full of wonderful guitar music and nostalgia.

Post Type Digital Art Digital Painting | 2D Art

Painted digitally in ArtRage 4.5.2 pro on blank canvas. I used oil colors, the palette knife, oil brushes and frosted parts of the background to smooth some of my brush strokes.
