There's some clues to why they are monstrous on the wall behind my head in which my eyes simultaneously demonstrate my wariness and terror for the future :) R

'Take back control' - a brexit slogan. To cling on to power, May is now its champion though she knows its ruinous.

'It == It' refers to May's tautological way of speaking which betrays her incompetence

'NK > US && US > NK'- shows the logical fallacy of the standoff between the US and North Korea

'Make US great again' - Trump's slogan

'Bombs away' shows how trivially both sides treat the idea of nuclear war

'Covfefe' a mysterious tweet posted by Trump highlighting his unguarded and childish use of the medium

'SOS' - Save our Souls. That's a plea by the character in the foreground.
