Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

Many of you commented that the original did not have enough depth and I agreed. So, I left it alone for a few days and went back to modify. This is what I came up with and I think it is an improvement for my submission to the Pastel Society of America. Please let me know what you think.

Mixed Media: None | I am doing a series of beach scenes where I am trying to create dramatic skies from different times of day and seasons. This is my sunrise version where I tried to use less vibrant colors than some of my others. This is one I am considering for submission with my application to the Pastel Society of America. I am eager to hear your suggestions and comments.
