Traditional Art
Mixed Media: None | This is an entry for a contest that only allows the use of six shades. This as an experiment in using both wet and dry pastels. I began by creating a dark blue underpainting using an alcohol wash. I then used two shades of a lighter blue and a dark green and gray green for the trees and foliage. I used white to create tints of the blues and greens to give the variations in color. The dark blue underpainting created the foggy mood I was seeking.
