Garden Photo Contest Contest Entry
Living in a sub-tropical climate (really true tropical, we never get winter anymore) is the perfect place for gardens full of Bromeliads and this pink beauty is one of many different species growing in my yard. Known as an Aechmia, it is very common in both tropical climate gardens and in any household, because it is so easy to take care of. It thrives in bright sunny locations and doesn't require a lot of water.
