I think Florence is one of the greatest cities in the world. We were fortunate enough to visit it a few years ago. This image shows our destination in the background, the Duomo (Dome). It is incredibly that it was built between 1418 and 1434. Yikes it must have been well built to survive and thrive all that time.

Florence is an incredibly crowded and busy city. There are tour groups swarming every inch. If you look closely in the lower left, we payed close attention our tour leader holding the
sign with #6 on it, our only reassurance we would make it back again!
