Building back a beach destroyed by a hurricane

Man Impacted Landscape - Photo (a) Contest Entry

A hurricane in the Destin, FL ruined a sandy beach through erosion. Man is now using mechanical techniques to build back the beach to its former glory. The circular feature is newly installed iron sheet piling. Once totally in place sand will be pumped into its perimeter creating a new beach. This is a bit of a twist on man typically degrading the environment that nature built.
