Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

My youngest son had two cats several years ago, both black ones, two brothers but totally different in personality. This was Spider who was the largest of the two. We live on the coast and he would often bring a present of a seagull, which was even bigger than he was. I've always loved cats and never tire of trying to capture them on paper or canvas. For this one I used chalk pastels and pastel pencils on 12" x 10" pastel paper.
