The Word Red In The Name Contest Entry

This is the skull of a male ,or stag,red deer, which holds a place of honored reverence on the wall of the great room.Red deer are found in Europe and parts of Asia,and are considered a close cousin to the American elk.The skull was found on a preserve in Texas. I took this photo on our deck,which was covered with a shower curtain liner, then beach sand,a trio of day lilies was added.I had to stand on a chair to take this photo! Photo cropped slightly and imaged softened slightly.
