a tiny stingless bee (tetragonula carbonaria (identified by; Susan FMT) still in flight at the top of the stamens, approaching the bright glowing center of this "blue (rather pink) lotus";................more precisely: tropical water lily.
(commonly called lotus because the flower emerge above water level but it is indeed a tropical waterlilly;)
