MARCH 2018 OPEN CHALLENGE Contest Entry

I have been following this little girl's struggle for quite a while now on Instagram. Her mother posts daily about her daughter's brave fight with brain cancer. I started this portrait, to give to Emily's mother, last week. Two days ago her mother informed us that she is now brain dead, and they are removing her from life support. So sad. She is now with Jesus in Heaven. I finished this picture, March 25, 2018.
