Frost is water vapor (or water in gas form) that becomes solid. When it forms as minute ice crystals and forms on the ground we just call it frost, but sometimes the frost grains grow larger and are called Hoarfrost, which is also known as Radiation Frost. This type of frost is in the form of tiny ice crystals that have the shape of little leaves or trees.
