Mixed Media: Some | I had such fun creating my entry for the Under the Sea contest I thought I would enter this one too. I did not know I had a whimsical side so here goes. This is mostly a pastel rendition but I also use some dry ink blocks and water color pencils. I added gold highlights with gold leaf to imitate the glow from the sun. I created the background blending first, sprayed it with fixative and then proceeded to create my garden details. I wanted to create a whimsical garden in the sunshine. I like the way my sun turned out with its leafy rays. I had so much fun I am thinking of turning this into a series. Eager to hear your comments.
