Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry
This is another impression of flowers done with the pour and straw blowing method. I put a mixture of acrylic and poster paint in different pots, added some PVA glue, a little water and a few drops of liquid silicone glue. Next I poured a little on to an 8" x 8" canvas board of the black and green and moved the board about until it was covered. This was to be the background. When this had dried a little but not completely, I poured a little from different coloured pots on top of each other and blew through a straw to create flower shapes. I also used a cocktail stick to tweak some flower edges. Great fun to do so I hope you like this. I'm still experimenting with different mixes!
