Mixed Media: None | I wanted to create seagulls in flight for this contest. I wanted a soft watercolor expressive look to the wings. This was an experiment in light washes. I wanted the sky to have soft clouds with a hint of sunlight as though they were soaring over the beach on a pleasant day. I deliberately wanted only the sky as the background. The blue rectangle is masking tape to block out my name for this contest as I forgot that it required blind entries.
