Birds Photos Contest Winner

This is a male Cardinal, a very common bird here in the State of Ky. I was shooting out of my blind last winter on a cloud covered snowy day. I decider to use my flash. It was a bit funny to watch the birds because each time the flash went so did the bird. I was lucky to catch this one just before lift off.
