While standing by our dock one afternoon, I noticed small oil slicks floating on the surface of the canal water. Unfortunately when there are boats you see this from time to time. I feel sorry for the sea life. The longer I stared at the slicks, the more they started to look like something discernable. This particular one caught my attention right away. I could easily see the heart shape on one side, and the crumbling of the heart's outline on the other. I have a very deep connection with nature and this vision rocked me. I clearly felt the heartbreak of Mother Nature. The pollution of our waters and environment is destroying everything, including us. Such a beautiful image in an ugly circumstance.
