Ospreys used to be classified with other hawks until they were placed in a separate family of their own. They are still known as Fish Hawks. Bald eagles are known to chase osprey and force them to drop their catch.

I see these birds quite often, and they are usually way too high in the sky to get a good shot of them. This is the best shot I have been able to get so far.
