Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Winner

Little Owen was born with a sever cleft palette. From the beginning God's hand was upon him. His family prayed, and believed, and trusted. He finally was able to receive the surgery that would transform his life. It was totally successful, and all praise was given to God. Still, his mother missed the face that she had come to love and adore. I wanted to give her a forever picture of that face, although I hid the worst. My honoring of a Father who sees all and knows all. All glory and honor to Him.

Mixed Media: None | My process us to visually find a photo that touches my heart and then to find the back story. I draw from sight. Touched by God's love for the subject. I draw with the intent of expressing that love to the subject.
