Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
I wanted to add a lighthearted Halloween image against my previous Werewolf image and felt this image was prefect for that. I saw Skeleton and witch hanging as displays for this holiday. They were hanging so close to each other the witch was in his face They were two seperate items.. Both of them looked so happy I could only see one thing.... A Love Story. The smile on the skeletons face was huge. He looked so happy this witch had flown into his arms. I could not resist in making this a wedding ceremony. I added a little green make up to her cheeks, added more hair to her head, gave her a bridal bouquet of green roses and added color to her dress. The hearts were already on the black lace of her dress and hat I highlighted them with orange. She didn't seem to have a hand that I could see so I gave her one. I covered it with a black glove and used some white lace she had hanging from her waist. I also added some green tinge to her tights or stockings....after all this was her wedding day.Her black dress was also outlined with light green. I also gave her some lace ribbons attatched to her hat for a sort of wedding veil. I gave the skeleton a new hand so he could wrap his bony hand around his brides waist. I also gave him some transparency since he was in one manner a ghost. I gave both a skull ring, though her hands are so small you can't really see it. I thought the Master of Cermonies should be a ghost. To make it seem that way I gave him a skull pendant so he looked official. With a little distortion I gave his body a twist to give him some flow to his body. I wondered how one would acknowledge the wedding. Draggin tin cans on the back of her broom didn't seem quite right so I drew in some bats dragging a "Just MArried sign. The moon is a recent handheld shot of a full moon I took in Full Moon Mode. I added blue to make it a blue moon then added a trasparency for the glow. Hope you see the Love I saw with these two and how I presented them upon a bright glowing blue moon. Hope you had fun viewing it! Thanks for stopping by and of course.....HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :o) Helvi

New background was created, bats and just marred sign were created by me. Accents on dress highlighted, Skeleton and ghost have touches of transparency.
