We grow, we change, Life molds us. Here I have created the Lion Cub on the left. The right is the cub as a adult Lion. Still kindness in his eyes but now with experience and age, a bit more cautious. Eyes are darker now due to elements, exposure and age. His whiskers more damaged, bent and course. These changes of his whiskers show like a trophy his life has not been easy. His nose scratched over the years shine as his Battle Wounds of Life and each could tell a story. Life in the Jungle can be gentle as a breeze, or fierce and a unending fight for life from game hunters. Life is so precious in any form or creature. If we care for nature they will care and Bless us back in so many ways. More than we can count. 🌿 In the journals kept by Marco Polo he wrote that Genghis Khan kept lions as we keep house cats. Since they live in a pride of lions and lionesses Polo described Khan was so tender and gentle with them. He even gave praise and thanks when a new baby Lion was born. This tender side was rarely observed. Khan being bold and opinionated however cherished the Lion. 🌿
