Outdoor Photo Contest Contest Entry

This Great Blue Heron has been on this stump for at least three hours as that is how long I was there. This guy had gone in after a fish and had missed. He returned to him stump and as they always do they will shake like a dog to get the water off, after doing so this guy just ruffled up and looked as if he was just making feather adjustments.
I spent another hour with this fascinating bird and he performed a lot for me and he caught more fish than the other fishermen.
