Insect Photograpy Contest Entry

I was photographing bees on a hydrangea type of bush on our island. There was a lot of activity .. many bees and butterflies, then I spotted this guy in a creviced area. He seemed to be sunning himself in the heat of the midday sun. I am not sure what he is, thought it my belong to the dragonfly family although we were not near any fresh water.
