These trumpeter swans were a tad too far for my lens to get the type of quality that I would like and I know some people will ding me for that. I did apply some softness to tame some of the noise caused by the distance.
I couldn't resist posting this because I think the dance they did was fascinating. I had not seen it before.
They landed on the ice about ten feet from one another and then proceeded to honk and walk towards each other with their wings extended until they were face to face, beak to beak and chest to chest, as seen here.
