~ She was walking in a Forest, a Druid Forest and lost her way when all of a sudden the trees began to speak. Come here, go there, this way and that. These were sacred Spirit trees of the Druids. Druids hold all trees very sacred. Their ceremonies were conducted in the open air, often in oak groves. It is interesting the word Druid is derived from ancient Celtic words for oak and truth -- dru and druidh. Tree symbolism is used in their religious and philosophical teachings and in their calendar and system of writings called Ogham. Druids did not keep written records. All of their knowledge was passed down orally or carved into trees with symbolism carved especially after sacrifices in the Forest. So, will this young lady ever listen to the talking Spirit Trees and find her way home? Perhaps not, she just may walk forever in the Forest of Spirits.
