On Feeling Alone




Dedicated to BFF who pulls me from the darkness




There are some times that I of late
When feeling alone draws near
Have thoughts of love and thoughts of hate
And too those thoughts of fear



To feel alone before the gate
Of all that's good and dear
Can be a sad enduring state
Where darkness shall appear



Yet when I look at all that's HIS
Surrounding me with light
I recognize that HE WHO IS
Is ever in my sight



So when those feelings cover me
And try to pull me under
I need but stop and look around
And see the Holy Wonder
