I found this little character when I went out for ice cream. As I sat down on an outdoor picnic table I saw this little guy hanging from a tree on a silk thread. I noticed him because the sun was shining on those long hairs. I always have my camera with me and wanted to get a picture of it. I ended up taking several shots because a breeze kept blowing him around and it was hard to get a shot in focus. I was thrilled when I finally succeeded. He was about an inch long, not fully grown to it's full length. If you look closely you'll see small white spots on some of the hairs, I think it's pollen.
I don't know what kind of caterpillar he was so if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks for stopping by!
