I am practicing art for children and illustrative work. I took the opportunity to devise this using the comp theme. Google tells me there are 2 books, Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the looking glass. I read the first chapters of both and have tried to illustrate a merge of the stories. Left is Alice reading in front of the fire after playing with her kitten. Mum cat takes over washing her kitty and Alice drifts off to sleep. She dreams of passing through the mirror over the mantle. In the background is a chessboard on a hill ...... Right represents wonderland and I loosely used Disney character styling to represent this story.
